It doesn’t work to not show up at an account for weeks.
It doesn’t work to forget to tell an account they are overdue on a bill and about to get posted.
It doesn’t work to not show new wines during a sales call.
It doesn’t work to bad mouth your competition.
It doesn’t work to spend time to replace your wine by the glass placement with another one of your own wines.
It doesn’t work to not reply to emails or voicemails.
It doesn’t work to show up late for appointments.
It doesn’t work to cold call a new account and expect them to buy wine that day.
It doesn’t work to brag or boast.
It doesn’t work to walk into a sales call without a plan, agenda, and goal.
It doesn’t work to complain about anything.
Sometimes we focus to much on what to do. Take a moment to think about what not to do. It’s a good exercise in clarity.
